Tektronix 1705A Spectrum Monitor is a rack mount Spectrum Analyzer, simple to operate and very helpful trying to lock your antenna onto a satellite.

This unit is slow to warm up and does not display the scale markings (measurement graticule) but apart from that it will provide an easy way to acquire the satellite when the beacon frequency is know.

It offers 70 MHz input vial a BNC connector or an L-Band input via a Type F connector. In the L-Band mode it provides 18VDC to power and LNB. This voltage can be turned off if not needed.
