CPI KA Band, 80W BUC Model SB49KOA

$10,600.00

Description

CPI KA Band, 80W BUC Model SB49KOA has been refurbished by CPI. From the appearance of the amplifier, we would guess that it has never been used other than for testing purposes. The complete refurbishing and final test details are included in the CPI box.

The strange comment on the CPI receiving report mentions that it was dirty and scratched, but that tech. must have been thinking of another BUC, because this one is pristine. The other point of interest is that the problem was caused by a loose input connector.

A couple of highlights, this is an outdoor mount amplifier it requires 48VDC input. Frequency range is up in the 27 to 30 GHz range. M&C is Ethernet as it had webpage enabled.

We have an optional outdoor 48VDC power supply with details at Mobile Pathways 48VDC Rugged Power Supply • New Era Systems

If the power supply and the is purchased with the BUC we will offer a substantial discount to the price of the power supply.

Here are some words that I copied from the CPI datasheet.

The CPI GaNLink 80 Watt SSPA / BUC, Model SB49KoA is a robust outdoor amplifier designed for Ka-band satellite communication systems. Here are the key features and specifications:

Output Power: It provides 40 watts of linear output power using MCC Technology.
Efficiency: Exceptional power efficiency.
Gain Adjustment Range: A 30 dB gain adjustment range.
Weatherproof Package: Designed for outdoor use.
Interfaces: Integrated network and serial monitoring and control interfaces.
This GaN SSPA/BUC is perfect for various applications, including LEO/MEO/GEO systems, Satcom on the Move, VSATs, and antenna-mount applications. It meets the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU to satisfy worldwide requirements and is CE-marked 1.

As for the cost, I recommend checking with authorized distributors or directly contacting CPI (Communications & Power Industries) for the most up-to-date pricing information. Keep in mind that the GaNLink 80W SSPA/BUC offers double the linear power compared to its predecessor, the 40W GaAs model, without an increase in power consumption 23.
