Cable Assembly from TracStar COTM Project was custom designed for some purpose that is lost in the mists of time, and so why are we selling these cable sets?

Answer: Just for the for the connectors alone?

I took a look at the cost of those connectors and you will need more than $75 to buy them individually.  Contrast that with a bundle of ten cable set for $20.with a DB25, DB9 and three Molex cables.

Heck you can take them apart and offer the connectors alone at a high profit.
