Description

The UPC-100M Uplink Power Control was originally manufactured by LNR but later acquired by L3 and so we list the product by both manufacturer’s names. A UPC works with the 70MHz output from a Beacon Receiver or Down Converter and measures the satellite downlink strength – using this information it automatically adjust the output power of the attached amplifier(s) ensuring that the satellite receives a constant power level from the ground station.

The UPC-100M can be equipped with several attenuators as seen in the photograph, We typically sell one attenuator per UPC, but more are available if required.
