Mission Systems 100W KA-Band BUC – full model number is KA2-100B-A1.

The frequency range is 29 to 30 GHz the BUC has never been used in the field it was a bench test amplifier used to test an Intellian problem. We also have a 50W BUC. They are the Javelin series.   Neither has been in the field and were set aside to test the 10MHz and 50MHz reference.   Intellian’s had an issue with the 10MHz and messing with the constellation when looking at it through an oscilloscope. So, to counter this issue they wanted to use a 50mhz reference and finally discover that it worked.

After that testing the BUCs were left to sit and not be used. 

When you read the attached datasheet, it mentions:
